I'm currently doing mathematical research in Representation Theory for my PhD at the Università degli Studi di Verona (UniVr). Previously, I was awarded a BSc in Biomedical Physics and a MSc in Mathematics by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).My interests include Mathematics, Physics, Computing, Biology and everything in between (specially Music!). I am particularly interested in STEM education, as well as the application of novel mathematical ideas from Topology and Geometry to data analysis and the use of numerical methods to simulate physical phenomena.I have participated in research projects in both Mathematics and Physics, ranging from pure Mathematics research in Algebra to hands-on simulation of physical interactions in Classical Electrodynamics. I have ample experience with both imperative and functional programming languages (including Python/Julia, C/C++, Haskell and Elm) as well as Linux system administration (including Red Hat Enterprise, Arch and Debian-based distributions, to name a few).I am very passionate about education, having worked in various related social programs since my high school years, as well as done STEM-related tutoring at various levels since then (starting from K-12 and working up to undergraduate). I currently teach Linear Algebra and Computational Algorithms at UNAM's Faculty of Sciences, and develop programmatic animations to teach mathematical concepts with libraries such as Manim (Python) and Reanimate (Haskell).I also recreationally enjoy writing and recording music.
