The business, carrying out 350,000 repairs p.a. and with over 550 staff, was fully re-engineered in only 7 weeks;Negotiated with the key partners of the former Powerhouse Retail to ensure help for 2,000,000 customers who otherwise would have got nothing creating a major marketing coup.Negotiated and managed the acquisition of the Powerhouse Connect B2B business and took it from £2.5M p.a. to c£12M p.a. winning multi-million pound public and private sector tenders;Restructured all of Powerhouse’s offshore financial businesses. Charge reductions of 15% and 20% across the board on scheme costs, gave cost inflation of only 1.5% p.a. over 7 years;Managed all aspects of the highly complex sale of Powerhouse Insurance Guernsey Ltd, a company with £50M in unearned premiums, working with 16 separate companies, banks and insurers. The full deal was completed within 10 weeks;Project Managed the launch of the Federal Express’s Next Day service from the UK to the whole of the US. The project was completed in three months rather than the programmed six;Re-engineered the manufacturing and planned maintenance processes within the Michelin’s Dundee site’s core production operation. Total factory output was increased by 30% (some 4,000 tyres per day);Recruited and trained a team of 24 Industrial Engineers responsible for 43 sites across the UK and Eire.
