Troubleshoot and provide resolution to desktop communication problems and remote system connections; troubleshoot software, equipment errors, and coach users in correcting reported problems. Inform and train users in equipment and software operation. Prepare and maintain technical documentation and procedures; perform preventative maintenance and repair hardware. Carry out security administration by maintaining tables and adding, purging, and migrating users. Install and configure network hardware and software; update system documentation; coordinate system/component upgrades and repairs with vendors and users; monitor the work of vendors to ensure compliance of enterprise standards for products and services; provide user training regarding equipment and network utilization. Troubleshoot, repair, and resolve malfunction of equipment and devices (e.g., computer, radios, microwave, telephones, and cabling); diagnose, locate, and repair network malfunctions. Install and configure routers, set top boxes. May assist with installation of PC/Macs software if needed. Instal remove, rearrange program tests programs tests, troubleshoot and maintain fiber/cable network services. Configure and install appropriate inside wire/cable, Cat5E & Coaxial cable. Business consulting with customer to negotiate the placement of equipment and package pricing. Assist with account registration, e-mail, web access and new equipment: customer and companies’. Train new customer on the usage of equipment and ensuring they are satisfied. Respond to inquires and provide follow-up consultation. Utilizes various test equipment to analyze and troubleshoot while taking appropriate maintenance action. Ensure local, state, and federal laws applied with reconnecting work conforms to quality and safety control guidelines compliance with requirements outlined in OSHA, FCC, NEC, and NESC & performance signal leakage.
