Managed Middle East/Africa profit center in Abu Dhabi, (U.A.E.) from 1992 to 1996 with geographical territory ranging from West Africa to India. Consummated a dozen agency agreements resulting in new market expansion and the award of several drilling contracts. Coordinated with sales and customer base to design onshore and offshore performance drilling, directional and horizontal wells including fluid and tubular analyses such as hydraulics, bottom hole assembly performance and torque/drag/buckling analyses.Served as Region Engineer 1990 to 1991.

Served as Chief Engineer on the Rowan Gorilla IV jackup from the Vicksburg, MS shipyard to final outfitting/leg assembly in Bellechase, LA to the drilling of several wells in the Gulf of Mexico and in the southern North Sea on a 21/21 rotation. Supervised deck crews, maintained bulk and handling equipment, supervised offloading of supply vessels, managed rig safety and maintained ongoing drilling operations for operator personnel on the world’s largest MODU jackup drilling rig.

Provided district and inter-district sales and technical support through the design, lab testing and field implementation of remedial stimulation jobs, oil and water based frac jobs, acid matrix stimulation and primary and secondary cementing jobs throughout South Texas. Performed rigid compatibility testing and analyses on wellbore/frac fluids and cement slurries and maintained an extensive data base on chemical/cement sampling, cement slurry compressive strength/pump times/API water loss, area specific water analyses and oil/water frac fluid crosslink performance.
