Developing propulsion systems for the NASA X-66 Sustainable Flight Demonstrator.

Modeled functional and logical system architecture in SysML on two rotation projects, 777X propulsion, fuels, and auxiliary power systems for airplane safety assessment and future production systems development for worker safety assessment. Developed model-based safety analysis methods for future production systems for worker safety.

Led production, customer introduction, and fleet-improvement projects in the 787 Program Airplane Integration Office spanning engineering functional disciplines while emphasizing engineering excellence, safety, quality, integrity, and customer value.

Led technology development acceleration through a flight demonstrator program that became the 2021 ecoDemonstrator 737 with Alaska Airlines, including partnership development, technology pipeline development, program planning, schedule, and budget. Developed collaborations with government research programs, universities, suppliers, and airline customers. Accelerated technology maturity and vehicle integration. Performed systems engineering and technical integration of R&D technologies on the 2018 ecoDemonstrator 777F with FedEx. Led program schedule execution. Led airplane-level safety of flight, integration of new airplane capabilities, and technology acceleration planning. Assigned tasks to support teams and monitored progress to meet schedule. Maintained collaboration relationship with FedEx. Supported collaboration partnerships with strategic external partners. Led Communications team to develop internal and external messaging materials. Result: An aircraft flight test program planned aggressively and executed early and on-budget while maximizing value for industry stakeholders.

Performed development and certification flight testing on 737, 747, 767, and 787 aircraft propulsion and fuel systems. Reported certification test results to the FAA. Analyzed verification requirements and wrote detailed flight test plans. Performed test data analysis for safety of flight and quality. Tracked aircraft hardware and software configurations. Used digital bus interface control documents to translate engineering-unit parameter specifications.
