About Daniel Albrecht

Daniel is a German attorney at law and has been running Starke since 2014. Beside he serves as external expert for the China IPR SME Help desk, a EU project and is member of the International Trade Committee of the ECTA.He specializes in trademark law, commercial law as well as corporate and labor law. He also assists his clients in drafting and negotiating complex contract documentations. Further on Daniel advises international businesses on the acquisition or sale of public and private companies. Before founding Starke, Daniel practiced for a well known law firm in China and the oldest foreign law firm in Japan, where he represented mostly German speaking companies in the field of corporate and IP law. He is also a former Guest Professor for civil law at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) 中国政法大学 and the Global campus of the Union of Western and Eastern Education (UWEE).His first professional encounter with China was in 2004 as a law clerk.
