The Rotterdam Collective is a new concept for interdisciplinary collaboration in the heart of Rotterdam, focused on environmentally and socially innovative projects in its local community. All members have their own, independent entrepreneurial functions, but also have the opportunity to participate in larger projects in synergistic teams. These larger projects are actively solicited by the collective's members.The collective operates under a set of jointly-agreed principles… Show more The Rotterdam Collective is a new concept for interdisciplinary collaboration in the heart of Rotterdam, focused on environmentally and socially innovative projects in its local community. All members have their own, independent entrepreneurial functions, but also have the opportunity to participate in larger projects in synergistic teams. These larger projects are actively solicited by the collective's members.The collective operates under a set of jointly-agreed principles that encompass some of the organization's key philosophies: a commitment to sustainability, a belief in social responsibility, the use of open source technologies and knowledge sharing, and the recognition of values beyond just profit. These principles were also used in the renovation of the Ro-Co space, which had previously stood empty for over a decade. Only the eco-friendliest materials and techniques available were used, and all labor was provided by the volunteer efforts of the Ro-Co community.Ro-Co is the physical embodiment of the network generation. Through our shared projects, we hope to be a force of positive energy and change within our home city, and we believe that together, we can contribute to making the world at large a more beautiful and inspiring place. I've been mainly working on the European China Centre Rotterdam project as part of the design team and China expert for this project from the VO start untill the DO final.

Architect design for several bank/office building projects in Germany. First Prize winning competition: the city hall of Haarlem and few housing design competitions. Research: the Sustainable Dance Club (WATT) was also one of the most innovative and fruitful project that began from the research by Döll."The World is my Playground" is a book resulted from research, activity and workshop projects organised by Döll with focus on the public playground space design.
