Analyzed and articulated the city and state policy and legislation that impacted the organization and the clients. Wrote a policy analysis on the Continuum of Care Coordinated Assessment and Placement System (CAPS) discussing the impacts of CAPS on housing placement for people experiencing homelessness in New York City. Facilitated monthly groups geared toward engaging individuals who had experienced homelessness in advocacy. Lobbied for legislation to support increased funding for supportive housing and homelessness services at the Association for Community Living and Supportive Housing Network of New York legislative meetings. Coordinated groups of UP residents to attend Bring It Home campaign rallies and advocate for increased state funding for mental health supportive housing.

I conducted intakes with clients in preparation for the supervised visitation. Crafted a resource guide of local and citywide social support networks for adult and adolescent clients. I developed effective relationships with custodial guardians, non-custodial guardians, and children to aid supervised visits.
