Diagnosed and resolved complex issues customer had while working in the Help desk

Supervised the evaluation of 15- 25 individuals on their performance on completing daily task. Maintained the inventory of communication and cryptographic equipment. Decreased the amount of equipment on order by 45%, by updating the records, and reusing operational equipment from obsolete equipment. Trained the individuals on VoIP also legacy systems, as well as being a rounded individual, this allowed each of them to be place in a leadership position.

Advised the communication officer on his communications capabilities at 2nd Radio battalion. Conducted Training on voice communication systems, these systems consisted of REDCOM telephone switches, and Cisco routers/ switches. Stored and maintained radio and data communications systems for the unit. These systems were exchanged daily to complete multiple operations. Made sure that all preventive maintenance and modifications of these systems was completed monthly.

Worked in an office that handled the administrative correspondence and training for over 180 individuals. Created a database that handle the completion of training for Marines. Also, conducted and coordinated briefs that will better the training for the unit as whole. During this time, I completed tight deadlines, and responded well under pressure from tasked from Seniors leadership. Mentored and build my own team of 5 individuals, and expanded their team working abilities in completing the overall tasks of the office.

Created a secure voice over internet protocol infrastructure, as well as the analog voice communications infrastructure; ensuring the operating units telephone services was successful. Made recommendations and developed technical design for new applications features, such as the Real-Time Monitoring Tool to view the Cisco Unified Call Managers (CUCM) activity. Planned and coordinated with 3 communications sections, in 3 different geographic areas (Africa, Kuwait, and Navy ships), in providing worldwide Data and Telephone services for 500 users. Trained Individuals on troubleshooting the voice network while using the CUCM. Performed the duties such as networking, administrated user accounts using active directory /w Microsoft server, installing operator systems on computers, changing radios frequency’s, monitoring satellite transmissions, and multiplexing. At the end of this deployment I was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal for the demonstration of my skills.
