As a principal engineer in a startup, I am developing medical devices which are used in stroke surgery. More generally, I am interested in working on developing hardware and software products in clinical and healthcare applications. Thourgh my career in industry, I have experience of developing AI models for diagnosis of disease and for human activity recognition. Also, I learned how to manage projects and lead team members to achieve goals with active communications. In academia I had worked on systems neuroscience using the fruit fly to understand how the brain is structured and functions. More specifically, I had studied how the animal brain does decision-making by processing the sensory information. These studies made me skilled at quantitative analysis of behavior and computational modeling.
