• I supervise a team of associates, and my roles include:
• Interfacing with in-house legal teams/business managers and providing legal opinions, periodic updates and any required legal service in relation to litigation, regulatory, compliance and other legal matters being.
• Reviewing case-files and formulating/advising on appropriate strategies for defending or prosecuting litigation matters.
• Gathering facts to either develop defences or initiate legal actions, by such means as interviewing witnesses and reviewing documents to ascertain the relevant facts.
• Preparing and reviewing court documents, such as Briefs of Argument, Written Addresses and Pleadings, for filing and presentations in both appellate and trial courts.
• Assessing the potential outcomes of litigation matters, using knowledge of legal precedents and advising on suitable litigation strategies.

• I was responsible for:
• Preparing cases for trial, including gathering of facts, formulating case plan, drafting pleadings, witness statements, arguments and filing in court.
• Conducting research and preparing briefs for filing in appellate courts
• Interfacing with government agencies and regulatory bodies, such the Local Content Board, Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), the Corporate Affairs Commission, etc. on behalf of clients.
• Liaising with in-house legal and business managers and advising on the status of all legal involving their organisations.
• Structuring, drafting and reviewing reports and other legal documents.
