Born and raised in San Diego, I've been lucky to be so close to the ocean. Inspired through diving, I have dedicated my professional life to combating climate change and marine resource exploitation through research, education, and conservation work. I'm currently earning my Master's degree in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UCSD in order to pivot into a more interdisciplinary approach. I hope to work in policy making or management upon graduation, while always working as a dive instructor on the side.
