CurrentDafydd Broom joined Apex in January 2010 shortly after graduating from Brunel University with a first class honours Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.In his time at Apex, Dafydd has been promoted to the role of Managing Director and as a result sits on the Board of Directors. Dafydd takes this role very seriously and plays a key role in steering the company towards future growth through the procurement of new work and the development of key long term commercial relationships.Dafydd heads a team of skilled Civil and Mechanical Design Engineers and is responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and on time by the team. He personally oversees the procurement, design, management and delivery of projects of varied scale worldwide.Highlights of Dafydd’s career to date include: - Bathurst Second Circuit | Australia - Responsible for the managing the team tasked with the design development of a new circuit to FIA Grade 2/FIM Grade A standards.- Vitesse | USA – Responsible for the Master Plan of a major, 2300 acre, automotive destination in Phoenix. Arizona.- KL City Grand Prix | Malaysia – Responsible for the design, homologation, project management and delivery of an FIA Grade 3 street circuit in the heart of Kuala Lumpur for the inaugural event in August 2015.- Zhejiang Racing Circuit | China – Responsible for the design, homologation and ongoing delivery of a motorsport destination in Shaoxing, China.
