Developed and managed new tools to support the Home Depot Supply Chain goals and objectives. (CWT rate engine, Parcel Cost Increase, SSM’s Compliance). Converting supplier freight terms from prepaid to collect by analyzing vendor’s outbound supply chain network. Reporting cost baseline, leverage and savings opportunities to management for strategy planning and contract negotiations Negotiated and closed 12 suppliers in a 4-month period, which resulted in $450K in fiscal 2006 savings. Completed over 54 detailed ISO analysis that generated over $5.9MM in 2006 savings. Discovered and implemented a new cost out metric for TF suppliers that generated over $900K in 2006 savings. Provided quantitative decision support analyses for supplier pricing contract renegotiations resulting in a projected annual freight allowance savings of over $60 MM for The Home Depot.
