My career started six months after graduating from NYU Law School when I found myself working in a tedious job as a corporate attorney, and I had an epiphany: I wanted to be a movie producer.So as a young man with little experience but a dream in my head I went West to “Hollywood.” Since then I have been fortunate to have worked with some of the most memorable, talented, and creative people in entertainment including Beyoncé, Charlize Theron, Mike White, Ridley Scott, Shonda Rhymes, Spike Lee, Alexander Payne, Britney Spears, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Samuel Jackson, and many more.Building and being a part of diverse teams that thrive on collaboration has taught me the power of a shared vision. My most rewarding career accomplishments have centered around building creative enterprises from the ground up and learning from and mentoring these teams.My big break came when I was given the opportunity to start MTV Films, where we helped create and release some of the generation’s most iconic movies like Jackass, Napoleon Dynamite, and Election. But my career highlight was launching We Are The Mighty, an entertainment company with the mission to serve and be run by a group of exceptional veterans. This unique company allowed me to bridge my experience of running a studio with a cause I believe in.My belief is that finding your passion is the ultimate career accomplishment. Now, through my own career coaching practice, I am able to “pay forward” all the wonderful mentorship and access I have had throughout my career. I work with all levels of executives (with a particular emphasis on film and entertainment professionals), to guide them through transitions and to explore all the possibilities that will lead them to find fulfillment in their careers.
