Management - Manage the IT Department comprised of 4 teams (Infrastructure, Business Systems, Data Services, and Public Facing Systems), with 28 staff (fulltime, offshore development team and onsite consultants), reporting into the CFO. Oversee Performance Review process and MBO program, establish measurable department objectives in alignment with corporate objectives.Budgetary Responsibility – Recommend budget to Executive Management, manage expenditures to approved budget. SG&A and CapEx.IT Governance – implement and chair committees comprised of senior leaders in the business for making decisions on IT Principles/Strategy, Architecture, Infrastructure, Business Systems, and Investment decisions / prioritization.Policies and Procedures - Establish / enforce policies and procedures for the department, including formal SDLC framework, change management, portfolio planning, capacity planning, request tracking system, technology heat maps, and disaster recovery playbooks. Highlights – Implemented server virtualization and full DR infrastructure (HP Blades, EMC SANs, VM Ware / Site Recovery Manager) with consistent execution of playbooks on critical production systems; Delivered major systems upgrades at reduced costs (Hyperion, Solomon, SalesLogix, Business Objects); replaced legacy system (Interwoven Worksite) requiring two FTE’s of support with a system that required 1/10th of an FTE of support while providing greater value to the business; implemented a master contact management database for our Clinician CRM System; implemented an enterprise data warehouse with executive dashboards spanning our two different customer CRM systems, Hyperion financial planning system, Solomon Financials system and SalesLogix ERP implementation; reduced spending in 2009 by 35% without significant loss of service offerings by implementing staff reductions, re-negotiating vendor contracts, consolidating systems, and refactoring complex code bases.
