Klurig Analytics is a data analytics company with new primary focus in generative AI, Knowledge Graphs and the intersetion thereof. Klurig's past and current clients include Harvard University, Mass General Hospital (MGH), MDOutlook (Oncology Intelligence), HP, Cisco and Northwestern Mutual. To help our clients to understand their markets and to find top thought leaders and influencers, we deploy end-to-end automated solutions from data gathering to analysis to data visualization. We use advanced data science technologies together with public and private APIs to access public, government and private data sources (ex. Twitter, PubMed, Meetup, Google Analytics). Database servers that we use include MySQL, MS SQL and Neo4j (graph database). An example of work for a start up company: as a proof of concept, we processed medical text books and other medical information. We then text mined the data, classified the terms as medical or non-medical terms, then classified the medical terms as symptoms, disorders or treatments. Then stored the data in a highly optimized graph database (Neo4j) and finally built a Shiny GUI for it. The comments from users (primarily physicians) was that the proof of concept was extremely extensive, flexible and with very rapid feedback.Examples of other work includes identifying and targeting of key opinion leaders in Oncology using public and private sources; finding influencers in different areas; mashup of data from a variety of sources; and an end-to-end Twitter analysis solution including techniques such as n-grams, association rules, geolocation, keyword trending, and interactive visualization. As Vice President of Data Science at CEA, a leading clinical education company, I pushed for the integration of data science into our operations. My responsibilities included establishing robust Data Governance protocols and pioneering the use of Graph Science, Knowledge Graphs, Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM) for classification, chatbots and recommendation engines. Specifically, the Knowledge Graphs led to the creation of very large graphs for high-profile oncology conferences such as ASH and SABCS, each involving 100ks nodes and multi-million edge interactions and ultimately an increase in registration rates with 600% through precise hyper-targeting methods.A focal point of my role is an unwavering commitment to data quality, data speed, and data effectiveness - data has to be good, fast and used effectively. My ultimate quest was aimed at accelerating innovation and curiosity to fostering a data-centric culture within CEA. By leveraging data-driven insights, we are better able to refine our decision-making processes and elevate the overall organizational performance.

The idea behind Citizim was to track user behavior through intense web and social analytics in order to understand a user's buying behavior. This data would be sent to businesses for ad targeting. Users would like it because they would see less non-important ads and business would like it because of increased response due to better targeting.Built and launched Social-Smart, an online web and social metrics aggregator.

Under contract with a pharmaceutical company, Biosoft developed a Lotus Notes application (databases, e-mail routing, OLE links and integration with the company's current IT systems) to handle documents related to clinical trials and FDA drug approvals. Project included scoping and planning with client; design, engineering and final delivery including writing manual and deliver training. I led the Biosoft project team. Worked closely with upper management team and end-users (MDs and PhDs).

Updating a Microsoft Windows based telnet client using a high-level proprietary protocol to communicate with databases residing on Microsoft Windows NT and UNIX servers. Worked with MAI Systems Corporation to port their UNIX application to Windows NT, which includes porting the whole AT&T???s curses library with the terminfo database. Built interface module between Sybase database and a proprietary flat file database on an AIX UNIX system.

Thomson Financial Services is a world-leading provider of real time data for the financial industry.Designed and built client end of a client/server based application transferring request/responses using a proprietary protocol across telephone lines using dial-up modems. System needed to keep track of multiple request/responses. Client used in over 1500 financial and corporate offices worldwide. First phase of client was built in MS-DOS, second phase using MS Windows. Back-end was SCO UNIX environment on a x.25 WAN.
