Dagmar Binsted Dipl.-Ing. (Univ.) RIBADagmar studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich before qualifying as an architect at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London. She worked in Luxembourg for Fabeck Architectes and then moved to London where she worked for Building Design Partnership until the end of 2008. At present Dagmar is working as associate for Scott Brownrigg in their Battersea Office. She successfully delivered the mixed use development of 5-6 St. James's Square as project architect and design team leader and is currently leading the team in the refurbishment of No1 Puddle Dock at Blackfriars following the completion of an office fit out for Network Rail at Eversholt Street.Building on her design experience from her work in Luxembourg Dagmar gained valuable on site experience with projects for HLW. During her time at BDP Dagmar was very involved with interdisciplinary design and development on large scale projects. Dagmar also contributed to the profession as a councillor of the RIBA where amongst other activities she was involved in the development of the new plan of works and as non executive director guided the commercial strategy of RIBA Enterprises.She brings this accumulated expertise to her current role at Scott Brownrigg where her focus is the collaborative design process and delivery of mixed use developments.Clients she worked for include The Banque Populaire de Luxembourg, the municipality of Oetrange, Bloomberg, Credit Suisse the MoD and Network Rail.For recreation, Dagmar performs in London's major concert halls as a member of the London Concert Choir and travels with her family. Dagmar also rowed in the winning eight of the annual University Rowing Race in Munich for three consecutive years.
