Master in Electromechanical Engineering by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia I have worked in energy consultancy, engineering and reserach since 1998Founding Partner of Aiguasol, where I work since 1999 and currently CEO of Aiguasol Latam. Expert consultant in energy systems, I have accumulated knowledge in energy planning, energy systems design, energy optimization of buildings and industrial processes, as well as dynamic simulation tools, generated over 26 years working as an engineer and consultant in energy systems, first at Intiam Ruai and then at Aiguasol, where I took on tasks ranging from project management to head of development for new products, including head of internationalization, Commercial Manager and CEO. I have worked on multiple innovation projects funded by the European Commission and CORFO, been an elected member of the Steering Committee of the European Solar Thermal Technology Platform and actively participated in different tasks of the International Energy Agency as an expert, such as Task 33 on the integration of solar thermal in industrial processes, Task 38 on solar cooling and Task 44 on the integration of heat pumps and solar thermal. In the last 15 years I have led a significant number of strategic, sectoral and technological energy consulting projects, as well as the development of technological solutions in the fields of desalination, solar energy, district energy systems and have been a Senior Consultant for UN Environment for Chile. I currently work as a consultant for projects in Europe and Latin America, where I have led several sustainability projects in buildings, especially in the health sector, and energy planning focused on decontamination in cities in southern Chile, integrating technologies from heat pumps to biomass gasification, solar energy or cogeneration. I have also published several technical and scientific articles in journals on renewable energy and energy efficiency.
