I finished a B.A. degree in English linguistics, culture and literature with a German minor, in 2020. During my studies I was the student associations president and event manager. I managed the student association and represented it at department meetings, managed events and social media. I was the student representative council president. I fought for students' interests and attended department and faculty meetings. I volunteered during the Queen of Denmark's state visit for the centenary of Icelandic sovereignty. I have further event and project managing experience, ranging from organizing volunteers for YMCA summer events and managing confirmation seminars to directing girls and ADHD summer camp weeks. I lived in Germany interning at the YMCA Munich and was secretary for the International committee of YMCA Iceland. I advertised opportunities for members and planned travels for seminars and conferences abroad, as well as having attended a great deal of them. My passions include equality and human rights, travelling, photography and design, creative writing, painting and making beautiful ideas come to life, a skill that I have used to my advantage in my passion and extensive project- and event managing experience.
