Responsible for the organization’s entire IT infrastructure which includes Media Servers, SANs, NASs, Fiber configurations, routing/proxy, archive servers, near-line-archives etc. It was my responsibility to guide the IT department in providing corrective solutions to end users and make recommendations to the upper management on enhancing and strengthening the current IT infrastructure.Responsible in recruiting and providing training to the IT department on the latesttechnologies.

Key Responsibilities● Line management responsibility and support for Service Desk Analysts including: Support and monitor team and individual objectives and KPIs● Preparation of staff Rota, ensuring all roles are covered between the service hours● Monitoring and reporting on Service Desk performance (Daily/Weekly/Monthly)● Monthly team coaching and call quality with all service desk analysts● Delivering Staff development and training● Perform analysis, diagnosis and resolution of problems for end-users, recommendand implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users asrequired.● Represent the Service Desk in project involvement and ensures all tasks allocated to the Service Desk on that particular project are carried out correctly and delivered on time● Point of contact for escalation for service desk analysts● Ensuring incidents are resolved within Service Level Agreements (SLA)● Escalation of any re-occurring incidents to the IT manager/Technical Services Director● Resource Management - first point of contact for sickness/late attendanceOther Responsibilities● Enhancement and strengthening of the corporate IT Infrastructure● Managing software licenses from the MS Partner portal.● Maintaining the Management Information System (developed by myself) ensuring the availability of the system including further additions in functionality.● Chairing the implementation team of 4 by overseeing all deployments and major changes to client networks.
