I am currently a year 2 Computer Science student at Singapore Management University.I studied at Temasek Polytechnic (Diploma in Big Data & Analytics), where I am honing my skills in Data Visualisation, Data Science & Essentials and Data Structures & Algorithms. I have successfully completed various projects such as creating dashboards for Open University using a software called Tableau. The projects challenged me to be analytical and accurate in coming up with a solution to the given scenario. I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect of finding out which factor caused this kind of result.In secondary school, I was an active student leader through my roles as a vice captain of blue house, I spearheaded games for secondary 1 student and lead one of the secondary 1 class throughout the orientation camp. I also developed my sense of commitment and discipline through my participation in a competition while being the member of my school’s netball team. These experiences have allowed me to develop strong time management, organisational and people skills. In short, I find big data fascinating because new technology gives powerful answers to many consumer-focused and point-of-sale questions companies.
