About Dahlia Van Every

I am currently enrolled in my last semester of the Recreation Therapy program at Canadore College. I have experience working with older adults both in the community and in long-term care. I have volunteered with the Alzheimer's Society of Sudbury-Manitoulin North Bay and districts in a day program. I currently work in the recreation department at a long-term care home, working with older adults with complex health needs. I am First Aid and CPR certified, have WHIMIS and AODA training and SmartServe training. I have strong communication skills, both written and spoken and I have experience working in a team environment and have experience working interprofessionally. I also have good problem solving skills and strong people skills. My goal is to provide compassionate care to those I work with.
