Marius Dahl is a multilingual Paris-based Cinematographer, lighting camera operator and filmmaker. He speaks fluently French, English, German and Norwegian. He has spent over a decade studying and working within Documentaries, Commercials, Fiction and Fashion, developing his visual style and sensibility.SkillsetMarius has a background from both fiction and documentary. Through his film school in Norway, he learnt the techniques of fiction and commercial production. Later, he complemented these techniques through shooting documentaries, learning to trust his instincts for lighting, shooting and working with natural and available light. Focusing on shooting commercials, music videos and fiction the last 8 years, he has developed a complete toolbox, enabling him to achieve the look and aesthetic best suited for the project.
