• Perform conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural design of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings in accordance with the National and Ontario Building Codes and Municipal Bylaws.• Conduct investigations, evaluations, and structural analysis of existing structures including parking garage, roof slab, balcony slab, and foundation wall. Provide technical reports, rehabilitation and restoration design, drawings, and specifications.• Carry out structural analysis of existing foundation and structure supporting transformer and switchgear for Toronto Hydro and Hydro One and determine whether they are capable of withstanding the loading imposed of the new proposed equipment. Prepare required foundation modification or design a new foundation. Provide condition assessment reports and related drawings and specifications.• Administer contracts including the following scope of work:- Coordinate activities with other disciplines and clients' representatives;- Attendance at site progress meetings during the construction work;- Prepare necessary clarifications and site instructions to the contractor as required;- Review shop drawings, product submissions for conformance with the project specifications;- Review material testing reports to properly confirm conformance with the project specifications;- Review contractors’ proposals and invoices, prepare payment certificates and change orders.• Carry out construction review to observe various aspects of the construction activities and confirm that the work conforms with the design documents through to the completion of the project. • Lead junior engineers and drafting team for drawing preparation and review deliverables prior to submitting to the client.

• Inspected MTO Contract 2014‐2031 HWY 401 between Bowmanville & Newtonville as per relevant OPSS and terms and condition of contract for the installation of traffic and roadway protection, assembling culvert and culvert bedding, inspection of pavement placement, pavement marking, field compaction monitoring and testing (concrete and asphalt).• Attended and participated in meetings with subcontractors and presented daily progress reports.
