--Facilitate the creation, planning and implementation of DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging) initiatives across the multiple BrightSpring Health service lines and among diverse stakeholders;--Work to assure the various communities represented with the BrightSpring Health workforce feel they have adequate voice and representation with regard to DEIB matters;--Represent and promote the efforts of the Equity Advisory Council to celebrate the gifts represented by the various cultures and communities of BrightSpring Health's workforce, as well as its intentionality in attending to the unique issues and challenges they may also face.

➢ As volunteer coordinator, enlarged the volunteer program by creating partnerships with area universities, recruiting new volunteers, and enhancing relationships between volunteers, management, and the rest of the hospice interdisciplinary team; worked to implement processes & documentation standards to better align the program with Medicare Conditions of Participation, as well as creating better institutional visibility for the program; worked with human resources, quality improvement, and information technology departments to refine volunteer onboarding process, including a new volunteer-oriented application, and the first-for-institution integration/inclusion of volunteers into EMR.➢ Member of 2020 cohort, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) Volunteer Management Mentorship program.➢ As bereavement coordinator, collaborated with co-coordinator to implement improved communication plan with bereavement clients and their communities of care; created visualizations of bereavement processes as part of long-range project to offer more robust wrap-around support for bereaved; provided education and advocacy for the bereavement program within the interdisciplinary team, as well as in the community at large.➢ As chaplain, provides spiritual care and support for patients, family, and staff as the chaplain for hospice serving 8 counties in Central TN, that ranged from urban (~1271 persons/sq.mi) to rural (39.8/sq.mi).➢ Provided educational guidance, as well as connections with area Veterans resources, for We Honor Veterans program, including planning of in-services from VA staff; and formal & informal teaching about Veteran Administration services at Federal, State, and local levels.➢ Helped provide education to incoming hospice staff, as well as home health colleagues, on principles and foundations of hospice care, along with practical differences in types of care.
