It pulls together information on 4600+ arena locations in 50 U.S. states and 10 Canadian provinces using APIs developed on the Apigee Edge / BaaS platform, and calling external APIs from OpenStreetMap, Yelp, and DarkSky.When Google sunset the Apigee BaaS platform, RinkAtlas database content was migrated to Firebase Cloud Firestore.In November 2016, the RinkAtlas Kickstarter Campaign was successfully funded to add new site features and complete the North American arena database.In September 2017, the RinkAtlas Canadian arena directory was completed, and is now combined with the U.S. arena directory covering all of North America.
