I continue to teach a 24-week UX/UI Bootcamp that covers the Design Thinking Process, User Research, User Testing/Analysis Strategies, low-fidelity wireframes to high-fidelity designs in Figma and finally high-fidelity HTML/CSS/JavaScript Prototypes. These Bootcamps are designed to prepare students with a strong portfolio based on proven design methodologies to be effective and productive UX Designers.

As a design leader, I enhanced the capabilities of a 6-person team supporting over 10 global, market-leading products, focusing on individual career development and aligning team goals with business objectives. I developed a UX strategy to unify experiences and support the organization’s revenue goals, implementing key initiatives such as a new Design System, Accessibility Standards (508 and WCAG 2.2 AA), and aligning brand, design, content, and localization strategies. Additionally, I created the new product design and persona-driven experiences for their future SaaS platform.

I led a team of 3 designers, implementing a flexible Design Thinking framework with a Kanban workflow and a comprehensive Design System that enabled the team to self-manage and prioritize effectively while supporting their career growth. Collaborating with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams, I refined our customer insight collection using tools like HubSpot, GA4, Hotjar, and user interviews, driving a data-driven UX strategy. Additionally, as an individual contributor on product design, I redesigned the core experiences for onboarding, profile management, and customer dashboards, resulting in improved user engagement and increased conversion rates.

As Design Team lead, I drove the development and execution of a Design System and Lean UX methodology, with a focus on regular Design Sprints and remote user testing to gather actionable insights. Working with leadership, I was instrumental in the creation of IRIS, a Journey Intelligence SaaS platform that leveraged machine learning to analyze customer experience data to deliver strategic insights to enhance client and end-user experiences.

At Spectrum, I led the design of a new product to simplify Internet and TV service setup for apartment renters. Through in-person user testing and qualitative research, I delivered user journey maps, personas, and user flows, resulting in a successful pilot that validated a new revenue opportunity.Drawing on my leadership experience, I introduced a Confluence-based catalogue of design templates for prototypes, wireframes, and flowcharts, improving the UX team's project management, feedback processes, and design deliverables.

From starting as an individual UX Designer I progressed to UX Manager, and eventually Product Owner overseeing mobile and enterprise products, shaping my path as a Design Leader. Leading a team of 3 UX Designers and 2 Business Analysts, I executed a UX strategy that resulted in the organization's first consumer-facing mobile app and enterprise product, Nexus. I also built the infrastructure to support this growth, including the first Design System, and fostered a high-performing team by creating a professional development framework that ensured clear career paths and long-term goals.

As UX Director, I led a team of 4 designers in creating prototypes, user flows, and journey maps, aligning our design process with the Product team's Agile workflows to support multiple daily releases. I developed a comprehensive user research process, combining qualitative and quantitative data, which informed the redesign of the web application and the launch of a new mobile experience.
