I am Principal Designer and Director of Salt Design and have over 35 years graphic design experience. I am a creative designer with a strong strategic focus and technical expertise in print production and project management. My experience enables me to lead and manage the delivery of contemporary design. I love the opportunity to provide the full service - to interact with clients, learn their 'story' and work with them to realise creative solutions. The satisfaction I feel today when a client LOVES our concepts or expresses their gratitude of the finished product - gives me as big a buzz today as it did when I first started Salt Design. I still do a 'happy dance' around our studio when we begin working with a new client. I am humbled by the knowledge that our clients believe in us, trust my team's abilities and collaborate with us to create an awesome project. Prior to starting Salt Design, I was a Senior Designer within the Marketing and Communications Branch of the Queensland Department of Treasury. This has provided our studio with the experience and expertise necessary for working with large corporate organisations including protocols, approval processes and an in-depth understanding of the critical value of consistently maintaining a client's visual brand.My work has won a number of design and print awards including - two National Print Awards; three Public Sector Management Annual Report Awards; and three PICAs (Printing Industry Craftsmanship Awards). I am so very proud of what I have achieved with my design business over the past 17 years. I am more-so proud of what my fabulous team and I have yet to achieve!
