Managed, serviced and developed Penrite’s key accounts, (NAPA, Repco & Supercheap Auto). In this remote, field-based sales role, I grew business from new and existing accounts throughout the South Island. I achieved 103% of my oil volume target in a new industry to me and was able to onboard over 30 new workshop accounts. This equated to 338,000 litres of product and $2.31M in revenue.

Responsible for all aspects of business development, sales management and customer support for a network of fifty-five SME independent bike retailers and e-bike rental/tour operators throughout the Upper North Island and South Island territories. I expanded the network by adding eighteen new accounts and increased sales revenues in my territory from 1.69M (2022) to 2.24M (2023).

Day-to-day administration of Electrify.NZ’s Auckland based Victoria Park and Albany e-bike retail franchises. Managing retail stores and workshops to promote brand advocacy whilst growing sales and after sales support to deliver a first-class customer experience. I also provided specialist support and technical expertise to other franchises within the group.

W H Worrall & Co is a major New Zealand bike and outdoor import/wholesale business. This role involved picking, packing and booking freight for specialist bikes and bike componentry. This ensured that our clients received their orders quickly and undamaged. Driving a forklift was required from time to time and I had to ensure I was following all the warehouse safety procedures.

Torpedo7 (Karangahape Road) owned by The Warehouse Group Limited is one of Auckland’s flagship outdoor adventure stores. In this role I gained valuable experience serving the specific needs of a wide customer base, plus the technical skills to sell and service bikes and other outdoor equipment.

This role involved ensuring the shift I was rostered on ran smoothly. It included opening and closing the restaurant, staff training, food preparation, taking inventory of stock, ordering supplies, planning staff breaks, cashing up tills, meeting customer service and cleaning KPI's and anything else that was required on the day.

In this role I sold Fresh Water, (Tropical & Cold), and Tropical Marine fish livestock as well as all the specialist equipment and consumables required to keep them alive. This often meant working customers who knew nothing about fish at all and educating them on what they needed. I had to take into account their budget, space at home, capacity to maintain the habitat and come up with the best possible solution to meet the customer and fishes' needs.
