Building a product to make meeting online 10x better!

Following the acquisition of Barricade, I transitioned into a Senior UX designer role with the Sophos. During the intial handover phase I also acted as a product manager for the newly joined barricade team, leading the product, design, UX and feature development.After the Barricade team had become established and working successfully with other units within the company I moved fully to a Senior UX Designer role taking new projects from concept through to delivery.

Led the Product team at Barricade.io and was responsible for the overall design, user experience & product roadmap. As a founding member responsibilities expanded beyond product and design work to building the team, revenue & the overall company vision.Barricade was acquired by Sophos in Oct 2016.

Involved in all stages of developing this innovative web product, from Idea conception, design, product development, fundraising, marketing strategy, HTML/CSS .Grew the community to over a 1000 photographers before transitioning Lokofoto to a side project which is still maintained today.
