En mi ejercicio profesional, me he dedicado a la gestión del conocimiento sobre biodiversidad. He tenido la oportunidad de liderar procesos para la integración de datos científicos provenientes de diversas fuentes, facilitando su acceso y uso en diferentes escalas. De esta forma, he logrado consolidar sistemas y redes de información a escala país que faciliten el acceso libre a datos sobre biodiversidad para la investigación, la educación y la toma de decisiones. Aquí destaco la Infraestructura de datos científicos del Instituto Humboldt, el Sistema de Información sobre Biodiversidad de Colombia (SiB Colombia) y el nodo GBIF Colombia.Poseo una buena capacidad en la gerencia y aplicación de métodos de ciencias de la computación para procesos de organización, acceso, visualización y análisis de datos sobre biodiversidad. Mi experiencia laboral me ha permitido liderar procesos de planeación e implementación de proyectos de alta complejidad y coordinación de equipos de trabajo.
