Created a fundraiser to help raise money for the children's school supplies and other basic necessities. Tutored the children in math and English after school through the creation of games and activities. Assisted children with homework and helped to ensure understanding of the material.

Students were predominantly low-income, at risk, inner-city homeless and foster children. Required subject matter knowledge, empathy, organization, and strong communication skills. Assisted children through their first two years of a five-year leadership program. Ensured the mental, physical, emotional, and educational well-being of the students through monthly check-ins. Helped to tutor students on select weekends throughout the school year while ensuring students maintained above a 3.0 GPA average to remain in the program. Lived with campers in a cabin, helping them to adjust to camp life and to grow in understanding of other campers and of the dynamics of group living.
