Hey! I'm Daisuke, a design computing student at the University of Sydney set to graduate in early 2023. My personal interests while growing up and working in a competitive environment in Tokyo has led me to harness effective visual and bilingual communication skills. During my studies, I was deeply struck by the fascinating and impactful field of UX design, with an affinity towards user research, co-design, and ethically designing for social impact. I believe that an accumulation of improved design can contribute to the betterment of peoples lives and society. With that ethos my goal is to help create solutions that improve peoples lives and experiences one way or another. Due to my visual background, I have been taking on the role of lead visual communicator in addition to contributing to rich user research within team projects. My graphic design tools encompass the adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects), and includes Figma for UI design. For team collaboration and conducting remote workshops, I have adequate experience in Miro, Mural, and Trello. In my personal time I have taken on free lance projects for friends and clients to help further develop my visual vernacular, skill set, and work experience. I am currently looking into more formal environments, such as internships and permanent roles to learn and grow as a designer.
