About Daisuke Sugimura
Daisuke Sugimura was born in Japan. He received the B.Sc. degree from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan in 2005, and both the M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees from the University of Tokyo, Tokyo, Japan in 2007 and 2010, respectively. He worked as an JSPS postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Tokyo in 2010. In 2011, he worked as a researcher at a private company in Japan. In 2013, he joined to the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo, Japan. In 2018, he joined to the Department of Computer Science, Tsuda University, Tokyo Japan. He is currently an associate professor in the same Department. His research interests lie in Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning and Image Processing.
