Avignon Theatre Festival

Responsible for world premiere launch of a new surtitling technology, developed by Theatre in Paris in conjunction with ATOS and Optinvent. The technology consisted of multilingual surtitles in augmented reality glasses. Responsibilities included: - organising and managing press and media relations;- welcoming international VIPs to test the technology, including Fleur Pellerin and Emmanuel Macron;- attending two 2-day mentoring sessions with French Tech Culture;- quality control of the surtitles for the two shows on offer. The project and team were then awarded the European Living Lab prize at the end of the month by French Tech Culture.

As the only native English speaker on the team, responsibilities included customer relations; content production for programmes, website and social media; communication with travel agents, tour operators and groups; welcoming clients to theatres around Paris as part of the company's exclusive English Welcome Service, amongst other tasks.
