• Oversee the FSK’s membership including sourcing, onboarding, and maintaining an up-to-date database of 306 members.• Assisting the society’s Governing council with drafting of the forestry professional’s bill and reviewing relevant acts of parliament like the Timber Act. • Supporting the Governing council in preparing and making presentations on relevant topics including carbon commercialisation.• Performing administrative and coordination work for the FSK including planning for workshops and all logistics involved including securing accommodations and flights as appropriate.• Supporting the Governing council in tracking policy pronouncements and interventions across the globe on Forestation and the green economy. • Preparation of the FSK presentations on Power Point and desired external communication including press releases and annual reports.• A member of a committee for the Japan International Cooperation Agency- JICA Project for Strengthening Forest Sector Development and Community Resilience to Climate Change through sustainable forest management and Landscape Restoration (SFS-CORECC).

• Conducted baseline study in preparation of distribution of the solar lamps to the primary schools in Kibera ( Akili Primary and Saviour King Primary School) in Lindi area in Kibera• Educating the parents, guardians and teachers of the students on the advantages of the solar lamps to the students as compared to other sources of light.• Distributing the solar lamps to the families of students who needed extra hours of study with the light after school (Grade 4- Grade 7) and educating them on the best ways to use the lamps.• Interviewing residents using kubu collect• Did comparisons between families that had the lamps and those that didn’t have in terms of consumption and daily spending on light.• Conducted in-person surveys and interviews with precision and attention to detail.• Ensured the accurate collection of data by following survey scripts and adapting approaches to diverse participant profiles.• Compiled and submitted daily/weekly progress reports to supervisors, providing insights into challenges and proposing solutions
