The Upper Valley Land Trust (UVLT) is dedicated to conserving land and protecting natural resources in the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont. Our work supports vibrant communities and sustainable environments through conservation easements and stewardship initiatives. Responsibilities:• Accompanied and assisted the Project Manager with site visits and landowner meetings.• Conducted preliminary title research and wrote preliminary title opinion reports.• Utilized publicly available databases to craft abutter lists for informing neighbors about nearby conservation projects.• Prepared legal documents and contracts using vetted templates, including Conservation Easement Deeds, Warranty Deeds, Purchase and Sales Agreements, Option to Purchase Agreements, and Letters of Intent.• Drafted written communications to landowners and partners.• Assisted in the preparation of materials for grant funding applications.• Attended conservation-related webinars, workshops, and meetings.• Prepared Property Transfer Tax Forms associated with project closings.• Assisted in the evaluation of new parcels for conservation and helped match new projects with potential funders.

Conducted detailed analyses for multiple lawsuits involving compensation to landowners for the destruction of citrus trees under Florida's Citrus Canker Eradication Program (CCEP). Responsibilities included assessing and qualifying monetary losses incurred by landowners due to tree eradication.

As a Policy Fellow, I played an active role in bolstering FCV's legislative efforts during the Florida legislative session. This encompassed conducting comprehensive policy research and analysis, tracking bills, and ensuring the policy team was well-informed about legislative developments. Additionally, I collaborated closely with the communications team to contribute to the creation of engaging blogs, social media content, and innovative member engagement strategies. This multifaceted experience deepened my understanding of environmental policies and their significance in advancing the organization's mission.Starting in May 2021, I assumed a leadership role in coordinating FCV's federal advocacy work, with a primary focus on initiatives like the American Jobs Plan/Build Back Better Plan and the America the Beautiful Initiative. This experience deepened my understanding of environmental policy and advocacy, allowing me to contribute effectively to the organization's mission.

Created engaging content, managed social media, and assisted with events to raise awareness for conservation efforts. This role enhanced my skills in content creation, social media management, and stakeholder collaboration.
