Since I was young, I have worked with children and families in various capacities, eager to be a mentor and enrich the lives of others. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, I have taught professionally in public elementary school classrooms and have had many rewarding opportunities to work with children and families of diverse backgrounds and circumstances, in both Title I schools and at a National Blue Ribbon School.During the Covid-19 pandemic, when schools began to respond with closures and remote learning, I transitioned out of my role in the classroom to work as a full-time nanny and household assistant in Manhattan, New York where I was able to meld my passions for education and childrearing with my natural affinities for project management and logistical coordination. While carrying out my full-time responsibilities in this role, I also took on part-time remote work that further expanded and exercised my skills. This included a role as an executive editor for a virtual assistant service provider and an executive assistant role for an independent coaching business, which also included project management for residential and commercial properties.Most recently, I have taken time off and away from home to do some long-awaited, extended traveling across Europe and Southeast Asia. In addition to exploring new lands, cultures, and diverse perspectives, I have taken this time to further my knowledge and expertise through online coursework and independent study. Now that I am home, I am eager to return to a multifaceted role in a professional setting where I can take on new challenges and work meaningfully with others.
