I have over a decade's experience in supporting children and young people in the community, their homes and in education settings. I have primarily worked with autistic children and young people, and I have experience supporting those with physical disabilities and learning difficulties also. I hold a level 3 supporting teaching and learning qualification from De Montfort college which I achieved via distance learning. Via my multiple job roles I have received yearly training in medication awareness and administration, epilepsy, safeguarding, intensive interaction and positive physical intervention.I am currently employed at a primary school in the heart of Nottingham city as a level 2 teaching assistant.
