I recent graduate with a Bachelors in Public Health from UC San Diego, most recently working as a researcher in the UC San Diego Fielding-Miller Lab.My interests in the breadth of public health are maternal and familial care practice, unhoused/homelessness health service, harm reduction and prevention among people who use drugs, and community-based participatory research (CBPR) approaches to intervention for underrepresented groups. In my free time, I am a Scripps Cardiovascular Institute volunteer and College Corps Volunteering Fellow for High Tech Elementary School. In whatever career path I choose to pursue, I aspire to eliminate inequities in the communities that I serve and create lasting trust between community and public health. I am always looking for new opportunities to expand and utilize my experience! My contact email is daisywest234@gmail.com.
