PBI is one of the world's leading NGOs providing life-saving support to human rights defenders in some of the most dangerous countries in the world.As Office Researcher I supported the Director with funding research and applications, reporting on political and social developments, liaising with donors and volunteers, organising fundraising events and discussion forums, as well as looking for ways to improve the safety and resources for our global team of volunteers.I also worked closely with the Alliance for Lawyers at Risk on advocacy and building awareness around the criminalisation of human rights defenders throughout the world.
