As an advising fellow, I have had the opportunity to assist low-income high school seniors with their college applications. Through one-on-one meetings with my high school fellows I assist students with information regarding essays, resumes, financial aid, and other aspects of the college application process that can be daunting. As a first-gen student who had to go through the college application process with limited support, I am very happy to help other students know more about how the college application process as a whole.

I Collaborated with the Director of Health Science to organize medical supplies, create and execute strategies to thoughtfully create a better learning environment for students, and developed ideas for better use of the Health Science campus at Methodist Hospital.

Argentina

As a part of the Argentine Studies Study Abroad Program, I had the opportunity to take Spanish courses in Argentinian contemporary culture and the healthcare system of Argentina. I explored the intersection of culture, politics, and healthcare in Argentina.
