About Daisy Rojas

I am a designer and engineer. As a dual major in Mechanical Engineering and Design, Innovation, and Society, I possess both technical and soft skills that allow me to connect technical challenges to social issues through the use of contextual analytics. Throughout my college career I’ve worked on many projects that have developed my skills in user-centered design, advanced calculus, computer-aided design, multidisciplinary teamwork, rendering, advertising, product development and management. I’ve also held many leadership roles such as Lead Project Engineer for a 30-product division at Hasbro and Chair for the Junior chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE). My goal as a designer and engineer is to target a social issue with each project I develop in order to implement justice for underrepresented groups.
