About Daisy Rosas Vargas, Ph.D

I am an organometallic chemist by training with experience in methodology, reaction optimization, and design of experiments. I have experience in STEM education, informal and formal education with infants, children, and undergraduates in museum, university, and community setting. I am interested in teaching chemistry as a critical learning experience. I strive for making informal STEM outreach more accessible to historically underrepresented groups in communities. More importantly, I include anti-racist, inclusive, diversity, equity, and accessible practices in my teaching material.
