A recent graduate from the University of Exeter, where I achieved a first-class degree in BSc Medical Sciences with a Professional Training Year. I currently work at Thameside Medical Practice as the Operations Manager.During the third year of my degree, I completed a neuroscience research project focussing on analysing the effects of early life stress on astrocyte morphology and density. This placement allowed me to gain a range of laboratory skills, improve my ability to critically analyse research, and write research reports. Over the course of my studies, I represented the 2nd and 3rd Women’s BUCS tennis teams. One of my proudest achievements was winning the Women’s Western Tier 2A league as my time as team captain. I have also had the privilege of becoming Club Captain and Publicity Secretary for Exeter University Tennis Club, two roles that have further developed my leadership and communication skills. Going forward, I am particularly interested in a career within the science communication sector.
