I received my Master´s degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (TESOL) from the University of Colorado, Denver in March 2020. This concentration area emphasizes a socio-cultural approach to issues of language and learning. I hold the Teaching License with the endorsement in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education and Spanish (K-12) by the State of Colorado and obtained the Teaching License with endorsements in English as a Second Language and Spanish Heritage (K-12) by North Carolina State in 2013. I am also a TESOL International Association member since 2014.My research interests in second language acquisition, individual differences in language learning, and English as an international language have allowed me to be part of outstanding projects in bilingual and multicultural environments at high school and higher education levels through in-person and online modalities in Peru and the United States.
