Being a Student Ambassador is an effective way to become directly involved with the Physics Department and meet current and prospective students, and academic and administrative members of staff. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm with other people, so talking to and encouraging prospective applicants and other visitors is a great way to do this.

I worked on developing Python code to detect starspot signals within the light curves of systems within the TESS Continuous Viewing Zone.

I worked at a local Education Centre where I was an assistant tutor. My role was to be a facilitator in both Maths and English for the teachers I supported.

During my job as a mathematics tutor, I was able to work both one-on-one and on a broader scale with a group of GCSE students. My roles included providing the students with assistance when they were having difficulties with questions, marking the students' work and providing feedback.
