Managing communications for The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC). The Maudsley BRC is a partnership project of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, the largest mental health service provider in the UK, and King's College London. It aims to accelerate the translation of findings from basic science into experimental medicine and early phase clinical research in mental health and dementia. As Communications Manager, I oversaw all aspects of the Maudsley BRC's external communications, including media, web, and social media. I also worked on public and service user engagement and provided communications strategy advice and training to researchers and students.
