Pharmacy Technician
Collaborated with a team of fellow technicians that worked together to dispense medications and fill up to 200 prescriptions per day. I always double-checked written and electronic prescriptions for accuracy, ensuring no mistakes before being sent to the pharmacist on duty for verification. Answered customer calls and called insurance companies as needed. I provided excellent customer service; using verbal and nonverbal communication and de-escalation tactics as needed. Another major part of my duties as technician included: sanitizing according to the proper protocols and checking inventory daily; correcting any incorrect counts, removing expired medication, and providing accurate counts of controlled medications.
Store Manager
In the role of store manager, I was responsible for the day-to-day operations associated with running a successful business location. My job duties included: hiring new employees, training new hires and managers in training, scheduling within payroll budgets, inventory management, data analysis and entry, and motivating my colleagues. Even with more responsibility, I remained one of the company’s top earners and I frequently took classes outside of the workplace to expand my knowledge and skills. Underneath my leadership as the youngest store manager in the history of my district, my location earned frequent recognition for exceeding company-wide sales goals and extraordinary customer service. Customers that responded to Medallia surveys often complimented our store’s cleanliness and amiable staff.
Assistant Manager
Assisted the Store Manager with daily responsibilities and worked together to improve our store’s rankings and sales revenue. Coached sales associates in product specifications, sales incentives, and selling techniques: significantly increasing customer satisfaction ratings and employee morale. Reconciled daily sales transactions to balance and log day-to-day revenue. Rotated merchandise and displays to feature new products and promotions. Met or surpassed business targets regularly through employee engagement and forward-thinking planning.
Tanning Consultant
After earning the “Smart Tan Certification,” I soon became a knowledgeable expert and began to increase my earnings for my store location. I started to earn recognition at the corporate level due to my top-ranking sales revenues compared to my colleagues. I was only employed as a Shift Leader for a little less than a month, before being offered the promotion to Assistant Manager.
Event Staff
Processed payments, checked tickets, and directed guests to their seats. Provided exceptional customer service to all guests and escalated concerns where needed. Set up event equipment, practiced performance routines at dress rehearsals, cleaned areas before and after performances, and prepared playbills and tickets for upcoming shows. Worked in A/V, specifically audio, and used soundboards, disc players, and surround sound speakers to provide excellent and appropriate sound for the performances. Communicated with coworkers using electronic devices such as radios and headsets.
Cashier/Hostess
Watched dining area staff and evaluated server loads to calculate accurate wait times. Used cash registers and credit card machines to cash out customers. Mastered POS system and how to close out credit batches and credit tips. Answered telephones and was in charge of to-go orders.
Restaurant Worker
I used proper techniques to prepare food and ingredients. Verified freshness of ingredients and food by checking for quality, rotating stock, and recording old and new items. Used cash registers and POS systems to take orders, accept payments, and provide change. Prepared and cooked food orders for customers by noting customizations and portion sizes. Learned about food safety and ensured proper sanitization techniques were used to maintain a safe environment for preparing and handling food.
